The print depicts Galbuh, a 9th-generation shaman in western Mongolia whom Dave met in his extensive travels through Asia. The photograph was taken in a winter log cabin with window light and a reflector on Fugicrhome film with a Nikon SLR system. The print is signed by Dave, and is not available for regular purchase on his website.
Dave has been a freelance photographer and guide on expeditions for over 30 years. He leads education and photographic expeditions on rivers and land throughout the world. Dave is especially noted for his intimate relationship with Mongolia.
