Item Description
Six bam...three crack...flower...and if you play Mah Jongg, you can almost hear the tile calls. You could spend time just looking at this beautiful set and keep as a decorative piece, but better yet; take it out...play with it...enjoy its sensuous feel and have a great time with your friends. This five-tray set has 149 tiles that appear to be bone and bamboo. It is in beautiful condition and ready to be used. We think it is from the 1920's or so which is about the time that the game came to America from China. There are no racks with it nor are there jokers, which weren't introduced until the 1960's. Dice and betting sticks are included. There are a total of 149 tiles so the five extra tiles could be used as jokers...which if you're playing with the newer conventional rules would be necessary.
