Casa Daniela is an exquisite 1 bedroom home in the upper part of Cortona, a quiet, residential neighborhood. It is on street level and has incredible views of Cortona rooftops, gardens, the valley beyond and Lake Trasimeno.
Entering through the beautifully decorated foyer, there is the master bedroom with an adjoining full bathroom. Continuing past the bedroom is the main living and dining area, tastefully furnished and curated with antiques and comfortable furniture. Beyond the living room is the modern kitchen and breakfast nook. The kitchen features a huge antique, 17th century stone fireplace (nonfunctional). From the kitchen are amazing views of the Val di Chiana and Lake Trasimeno, one of the most spectacular views in all of Italy.
Casa Daniela is an elegant, refined home from which you can base yourselves during your Cortona adventure.

About Cortona: Cortona is a 3,000 year old Etruscan hill-town conveniently situated in Tuscany between Florence and Rome. It lays on the main rail line and the main Autostrada between Rome and Florence. Cortona was recently made famous by the book/movie “Under the Tuscan Sun”. Along with incredible physical beauty and views of the valley and lake Trasimeno below, Cortona offers an array of fine restaurants and shops. The town also boasts two museums and numerous churches and historical sights. It truly is a magical place to explore! *Please note: Cortona is an ancient, walled hill town with many stairs, steep streets and limited driving/parking with no elevators or handicap accommodations. Please be advised of this if you have mobility issues of any sort.
