Upon entering from the street, you’ll find the living room equipped with a cozy functional fireplace, as well as a full bathroom and laundry facilities. A set of stairs leads to the second floor with a fully equipped kitchen and large dining area, as well as the first queen bedroom. The last set of stairs leads to the third floor, with the second queen bedroom, the bedroom with two twins, and a full bathroom. Ivan, the villa owner, is an incredible chef, and once you book a stay at Casa San Francesco, we highly recommend you partake in his *in-home cooking classes - it is some of the best Tuscan food you will ever eat. Ivan takes great care in personally overseeing his guests’ comfort; he is always available to guests and will greet you upon arrival at Casa San Francesco. You will love your stay at Casa San Francesco and having Ivan as your host. The two combined will ensure you a memorable experience in Cortona.

Cortona was recently made famous by the book/movie “Under the Tuscan Sun”. Along with incredible physical beauty and views of the valley and lake Trasimeno below, Cortona offers a array of fine restaurants and shops. The town also boasts two museums and numerous churches and historical sights. It truly is a magical place to explore!

*Please note: Cortona is an ancient, walled hill town with many stairs, steep streets and limited driving/parking with no elevators or handicap accommodations. Please be advised of this if you have mobility issues of any sort.
