Item Description
Two complimentary passes for the "beautiful, but bizarre" tour of the Winchester Mystery House, gardens and historical museum.
Tour 110 of the 160 rooms of the Winchester Mystery House. In 1884, wealthy widow Sarah Winchester began a construction project that dwarfs any home remodeling project you might have undertaken. It is said that after the untimely death of her husband and child, she was convinced that continous building would appease the evil spirits of those killed by the famous "Gun that Won the West," the Winchester rifle. For 38 years until Mrs. Winchester's death at 82, carpenters and craftsmen were kept busy. The house is filled with such oddities as a set of stairs that ends at a ceiling.
