Well, here is a big collection of big bottles from one of the UpValley Family Centers’ biggest supporters, Anne and Chuck McMinn. We are ever grateful to the McMinn Family Foundation for its support of the UpValley Family Centers, NapaLearns, The Napa Valley Vine Trail and other organizations in the valley that just make our home a better place to live, for all.

And, their wines are pretty terrific, too!

The beautiful Vineyard 29 Estate vineyard is situated on the hillsides north of St. Helena, facing east. The historic Aida Estate Vineyard is just slightly north, and the cabernet sauvignon grapes from Aida yield a bold, structured and immensely enjoyable wine. The Cabernet Franc, often used as a blending wine, on its own is an intriguing varietal with finesse and intensity.

Overall, the 2009 vintage brought nearly ideal grape growing conditions resulting in good yields, and well developed berries creating well balanced and approachable wines with beautiful structure and acidity. Here are 3 magnums from the 2009 vintage, from Vineyard 29.

Bigger is Better!
