Item Description
On Saturday evening, April 1, the Student Center will be magically transformed into a Las Vegas casino, complete with poker tables, cards, chips, and amateur guest dealers, including Mid-Pen's own Alan Cameron. The evening will start with a lesson for beginners at 6:00 p.m., followed by two hours of play, lots of pizza and soda, and plenty of prizes. Players will start the night with $1,000 in chips and at the end of play can trade in their earnings for a chance to win great prizes.
Even if you've never played before, you'll have a great time at the first Mid-Pen World Series of Poker!
Price: $75 per student-parent team
Item Special Note
This is a fun family event for students and parents, so no alcohol will be served. It is not a tournament, and play will not be structured to produce a single winner. Date: Saturday, April 1, 2017, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
