The winner of this item will receive 4 vouchers for a regular sized sandwich or quinoa salad at Slow G's Eatery.
Slow G's Eatery grew out of my frustration in not being able to find a place where I knew the food was a good value and wasn’t laden with unhealthy fats, sodium, and sugar. Feeling that there are many others, like myself, who also try to live a healthy lifestyle and make healthy food choices (most of the time…LOL), I decided to follow my passion and leave my corporate job to create my own eatery (and as it turns out, it's where I get my lunch and dinner every single day!).
We thoughtfully select our ingredients. We only cook skinless chicken breast and lean cuts of beef and pork. Fresh herbs are used in quite a few of our recipes for a healthy burst of flavor (and they're one of nature's most concentrated sources of antioxidants).
Fresh rolls are baked daily for our refreshing sandwiches. (Extra bread is donated to those who are in need. Within our community, we have a very gracious neighbor who delivers the extra bread to St. Vincent de Paul.)
We support living a healthy lifestyle and making healthy food choices. At Slow G's, you get healthy flavorful choices for which your body will shout "thank you!"
And as for the name, well the reasoning behind "Slow" is twofold. One, because we slow cook our meats in cast iron Dutch ovens, and two, because we support the "Slow Food" movement of keeping it healthy, local, and sustainable. "G," if you guessed because it's the first letter in my first name, you're right!

Unless otherwise noted, all auction items will be available for pick up at Live Oak Elementary School in San Ramon. Alternatively, items that can fit inside a standard #10 envelope can be mailed via USPS for a S&H fee of $1.
