Item Description

Spend an autumn weekend in a charming cabin/guest house surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest. Accommodations include fully equipped kitchen, full bath, fieldstone fireplace, 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 double), plus full-size futon in living room and single loft space suitable for a young person who can safely climb a ladder.  Cabin has private deck, spectacular mountain views and hiking trails within walking distance. 

In addition to accommodations, Head of School Jenny Rowe and her husband Nat Scrimshaw will treat you to any or all of these lovely fall activities: 

• evening cookout and campfire
• cider pressing
• a hike, long or short, through the National Forest 

Choice of weekend dates: September 29-October 1, 2017(Friday 3pm to Sunday 3pm). Reservation of weekend may be changed with advance notice by July 1 to another fall weekend, if there is availability.

Located on a private road near Sandwich Notch Road in Thornton, NH, with views of Sandwich Mountain, Jennings Peak and Welch-Dickey.  

15 minutes north of Plymouth, NH.  Close to Waterville Valley and Loon Mountain.  Franconia Notch State Park is about 25 minutes away.   

Dogs are permitted, although the donor requests any dogs are past the “chewing stage”, are house-broken, and have been treated for flea/tick prevention.

Item Special Note

Items and gift certificates may be claimed on April 8^th at our Auction & Celebration on our campus in Cumberland, Maine.  Shipping bulky items to any location is not included in the sale price, unless expressly stated.  If shipping is required, the cost will be charged to the credit card on file.

Registration with Bidding for Good is required in order to bid.  All auction items are donated to FSP for use in this auction, and are sold as is.  Descriptions are provided by the item donors, and FSP is not liable for any warranty or representation not expressly stated. Some restrictions or exclusions may apply.

*NOTE: Your credit card will not be charged unless you win an item. Winners will be notified by Bidding for Good, but all billing will be done through FSP’s credit card processor at the completion of the online auction.
