Item Description
Weekend stay in the spring or fall at our hand-built house in Chatham, NY.
The cabin was built by Cid Maciel’s father, Leandro, out of cordwood masonry. The cabin has electricity, a wood burning stove, an electric composting toilet, and an outdoor shower. There is no plumbing, instead water is carried in from the well in the back yard.
We are located on ½ an acre of private land at the end of a dead-end street in a small neighborhood that is a 20 minute drive from Hudson, NY and Great Barrington, MA. Activities in the area include hiking and conservation land walking, small towns with good food and movie theatres, farms, apple picking, etc.
Item Special Note
Restrictions:
* Weekends stays last from Friday through Sunday
* Stays are offered in the spring and fall, not the summer
* Weekend to be scheduled at a time mutually agreeable to auction winner and cabin owner
