Item Description
Joseph Family Vineyards - Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum Vertical : 2004 - 2005 - 2006
Item Special Note
2005: 92 Points: "A very fine example of Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, showing the elegance and complexity that wines from that Sonoma County region can attain. Soft and intricate tannins, the wine shows a mélange of blackberry, currant and cherry sweet dried herbs and smoky flavors that are delicious now, and should hold well for several years." Steve Heimoff Wine Enthusiast, August 2008; // 2006: 90 pts "Vivid ruby. Sexy aromas of blackberry and cherry-vanilla, with notes of tobacco, graphite and dried flowers adding complexity. Juicy, palate staining cherry and dark berry flavors combine sweetness and spiciness, with supple tannins arriving on the back half. Finishes with very good breadth and a strong echo of candied flowers. This is sweeter and deeper than the 2005." Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
