Item Description
2012 Puma Winery Pinot Noir
Item Special Note
Estate Grown. The 2012 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir is an unbelievably light and fresh wine. It is made from the top-quality grapes of our Apex and Vigna Monte Nero vineyards. The mixture of the ranches results in a divine wine that truly captures the essence of the Santa Lucia Highlands. The 2012 vintage differs from the 2011 vintage by having slightly bolder initial flavor with a smoother finish. After being hand-picked and pressed, the wine is aged for 10 months in 50% new French oak and 50% neutral oak barrels. The Pinot Noir nose has elegant notes of vanilla and raspberries. Dense flavors of red berries, balanced acidity, and toasty oak consume the senses of the mouth.
