Item Description
Beautiful hand crafted vase featuring a praying mantis and floral patterns - from the village of Masaya in the foothills of central Nicaragua.
As a creative form of art, these products rate amongst the purest as the artisans dig their own clay and shape each individually with hand made ceramic tools (paint brushes are made with children's hair!). After being shaped on a kick wheel, each piece is etched, hand painted and wood fired in a hand made kiln.
Measures 10" tall and 8" at widest round.
Item Special Note
Winning bidder to pay shipping outside the Seattle area.
