Item Description

Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance for a backstage tour for two with TONY SHALHOUB following a performance of Arthur Miller's THE PRICE.

About the show:

One of the most personal plays by the consummate voice of the American everyman, Arthur Miller’s The Price is a riveting story about the struggle to make peace with the past and create hope for the future.

SYNOPSIS: When the Great Depression cost his family their fortune, Victor Franz gave up his dream of an education to support his father. Three decades later, Victor has returned to his childhood home to sell the remainder of his parents’ estate. His wife, his estranged brother, and the wily furniture dealer hired to appraise their possessions all arrive with their own agendas, forcing Victor to confront a question, long-stifled, about the value of his sacrifice.

About Tony Shalhoub:

Tony Shalhoub joins the cast of The Price following a successful run in the Atlantic Theater Company production of The Band's Visit.  He was also recently seen in Lincoln Center productions of Act One and Golden Boy, for which he was nominated for Tony Awards.

Perhaps his best known role was onscreen as the OCD detective "Monk", for which Shalhoub earned three Emmy Awards, a SAG and a Golden Globe Award.  Other television credits include "Nurse Jackie", "Too Big to Fail", and "Braindead".  Some of his feature film credits include Big Night, The Siege, Galaxy Quest, and the soon to be released film The Assignment; Shalhoub also voiced Luigi in both Cars and Cars II
