Item Description
2005 Talley Vineyards Estate Chardonnay - 2 Bottles
Item Special Note
90 Points Stephen Tanzer. Talley Vineyards is located eight miles from the Pacific Ocean in the Arroyo Grande Valley, just south of Edna Valley and north of Santa Barbara County. The Arroyo Grande provides ideal conditions for grapes. The long and mild growing season is perfect for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The 2005 Chardonnay shows lots of earth and mineral notes with fresh acidity and a creamy middle. From the INternationa Wine Cellar,"Pale straw-yellow. Pear, flowers, tangy citrus fruits and a hint of nuts on the nose.Big, rich and suave but airy rather than particularly sweet, with bright citrus flavors. Fleshy chardonnay but not complex enough for an outstanding rating.
