How We Learn
We learn by playing, discovery and exploration.
We see, hear, touch, taste and smell. We paint, build, read, dance, sing, jump and pretend. Our daily activities include music and movement, theater arts, science and nature, introduction to Spanish, modern art, cooking and baking, imaginative costume play and outdoor play in our private playground.
Centrally located near the firehouse, police station, library and local businesses, we incorporate our valued community resources into our curriculum. These educational excursions help provide children with a clear understanding of the world around them.
Our teaching philosophy is based on our understanding that all children are unique and each child expresses their uniqueness in personality, rate of development, cognitive, physical and social growth.
We recognize the importance of self-esteem within each child and establish a realistic, age appropriate goals to develop that gift.
We believe a quality program must have a nurturing, warm, caring staff that serve as adult role models for the children and share the child’s ongoing progress with the parent or guardian.
We go beyond educational childcare to give parents the confidence to know that their child’s every need will be cared for throughout the day.
We believe the parent program partnership is a key element to every child’s success and think of our program as an extension of your family.
