Westport Country Playhouse

Originally built in 1835 as a tannery manufacturing hatters’ leathers, it became a steam-powered cider mill in 1880, later to be abandoned in the 1920s.  Splendidly transformed into a theater in 1931, it initially served as a try-out house for Broadway transfers, evolving into an established stop on the New England straw hat circuit of summer stock theaters.  Following a multi-million dollar renovation completed in 2005, the Playhouse became a state-of-the-art producing theater, preserving its original charm and character.

Today, the not-for-profit Westport Country Playhouse serves as a cultural nexus for patrons, artists and students and is a treasured resource for the State of Connecticut.

The Delamar Southport

Carefully curated, each of our 44 guestrooms and suites were designed with unparalleled luxury and distinctive charm. Our intimate size allows us to offer special attention to each guest, hand selecting the most appropriate guestroom for your getaway to Fairfield County.

Positano

Positano has been owned and operated by the Scarpati family for more than fifteen years. The owner, Giuseppe Scarpati, was born on the island of Ponza, Italy, and has carried his family's traditions over to the States. Chef Giuseppe learned the art of cooking from his father, who studied with master chefs in Italy and was regarded as the island's best fisherman. Growing up on an island, Giuseppe appreciates and knows that the best food is made from the simplest and freshest ingredients. His cuisine focuses on all natural cooking, with fresh fishes, meats, fruits, vegetables, and aromatic herbs.

Artisan

The menu at Artisan encourages you to eat well and experience cuisine influenced by the rhythm of New England’s seasons and farmstead offerings. While the menu rotates on a quarterly basis to reflect local offerings, some signatures stay on the menu all year long.
