Item Description
Join TTS board member Harry Glasgow on a walking/driving tour of the Manassas Battlefield National Park in Manassas, Virginia.
Whether you call them the battles of Manassas (Confederate preference) or the Battles of Bull Run (Union preference), this park portrays these bloody initial Civil War conflicts with trails linked with vivid wayside signs clearly describing the give and take of these opposing forces.
At about 5000 acres, the entire park can be taken in by car, or parts by walking.
For those less interested in Civil War history, the Battlefield is one of the premier natural areas in Northern Virginia with an abundance of birds, wildflowers, grasslands, and forests.
Lunch or dinner will be arranged at one of the fine restaurants in the preserved Manassas Old Town section.
Item Special Note
Tour to be arranged with Harry Glasgow and the highest bidder.
