Item Description
The photo of these young elephants was captured by Max Waugh in the Botswana's Mashatu Game Reserve. The younger elephant was trying to steal a drink out of the older elephant’s mouth. These elephants were photographed from Mashatu's famous underground hide.

About the Artist:
For more than a decade, Max has been photographing wildlife, travel and sports subjects professionally. He has been a multiple finalist in the prestigious BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition and two time winner of the MalaMala Photographer of the Year competition, and his work has appeared in such publications as Africa Geographic and ESPN the Magazine.
A love of Yellowstone National Park and its wildlife led Max to build a cabin in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, allowing him to spend even more time in his favorite place for nature photography. Since 2003, Max has visited over thirty countries in Central and South America, Africa, Europe and elsewhere. These days, his travels usually revolve around nature and wildlife photography.
Max teaches introductory photo classes in the Seattle area and is leading photo workshops and tours both in the Pacific Northwest and overseas.
