Day in the Bay on a Nice Yacht for 6 people!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to Sail? Do you love adventure? Do you ever feel stressed out or frustrated with your day to day life? Sailing is a way of finding an outlet and challenging yourself with something new and exciting! People feel more fulfilled and present in their daily lives when they are on the water.
This is a beginner adventure sailing class. Learn the basics of sailing by doing. You will be on a private sailing yacht for the day! In the beautiful San Francisco Bay. You will learn the basics of sailing including how to tack, jibe, anchor, tie knots, and much more. You are the crew you will be learning to sail “hands on” from the time you jump on to the time you jump off just as if it was your own yacht. We will go wherever you want to go, within reason! You will receive Study Materials, a Sailing Certificate of completion and a Small Vessel Sea Service sign off from the Captain.
Captain Charlie is a US Coast Guard Certified Captain. He has been a sailor for more than 30 years. He has over 1200 Days of sailing experience and has sailed many different types of sailing yachts.
· Days Sailing: 1 day of sailing on a 40 - 50 foot sailing catamaran yacht.
· Food and Snacks will be provided.
· Fun: Swimming, snorkeling, and yes even sailing! Each passenger must know how to swim.
· Scheduling: This is a day trip. It is based on availability and weather. Recommended days to depart are during the spring and summer.
