Paul was a professional potter for 10 years and has contributed significantly to Empty Bowl since 2004. He has been making pots since 1972, and returned to full-time potting last year. Gail was a painter for many years until she fell in love with clay. She has been making pots for more than 12 years.
This is their 5th year collaborating on artworks for Empty Bowl.
Paul and Gail work out of their Clover Valley studio, where they are hosts in the Lake Superior 20/20 Fine Art Tour in late September. Their work can be found at the Park Point Art Fair and other regional shows. Also, they are represented at Sivertson's Gallery in Grand Marais and Siivis Gallery in Duluth.
