"Interlude" is an original watercolor painting developed from an afternoon of watching buskers perform In the Festival of Fools on Church Street, Burlington. It is painted on Yupo paper, an unusual surface of recyclable synthetic paper that allows experimentation and wiping away of pigment that Nancy Stone is known for. The painting is 13" x 19""; it is in a double-layered mat and framed, measuring 19" x 25".
