At Bella, we are a small, family run winery dedicated to handcrafting small lots of zinfandel, with a focus on our own century old vineyards as well as those tended by other small, passionate growers who are extremely dedicated to the heritage and quality of these vines planted so many generations ago.

We are most excited by these mighty ancient vines that struggle to produce, but develop into intense, memorable representations of zinfandel at its best. At Bella, we believe in balance – blending complexity with opulence, nuance with boldness and mind blowing with distinctive. There is something extremely special, and quite magical, about these twisted old vines.

We are proponents of dry farming, organic and sustainable viticulture, and passionately believe in letting each vineyard speak for itself. Our goal is to create tiny lots of wine from these special, unique sites and stand back as each expresses its own personality. By using incredible sites, we become shepherds of the wine and can do the bare minimum in the winery.

At Bella, we believe that wine that is truly memorable needs to have amazing length and texture to complement the fruit and structure. We use specially selected French oak coopers, which have a light touch but which wrap the wine in incredible velvet softness.  With our extensive barrel selection for each small lot, we hope to create wines that are mouth filling and memorable.

This is a pick-up only item.

For planning, note that the pick-up days are  Friday, March 31, 2017 from 2:00-5:00pm and Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10:00am-12:00 noon at SunRidge School in Sebastopol, California.  All information and details about pick up dates, times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
