Item Description
Harvested from seven different Napa Valley vineyards, the 2001 Elyse Cabernet Sauvignon is blended in a Bordeaux style, resulting in a wine that boasts a synergy of terroir, varietal characteristics, and oak influences.
Winemaker Notes: The 2001 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is deep dark in color with a rich texture and firm long tannins. Intense aromas of black fruits and violets give way to underlying flavors of leather, earth and tobacco. The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is ripe with long lingering flavors that glide endlessly across the palate.
Wine Enthusiast awarded a 98 rating for the 2001 vintage of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, while Robert Parker's vintage chart gives a similarly high rating at 96, noting in 2015 that the 2001 vintage in general was "still tannic, youthful, or slow to mature."

Items not picked up by April 4 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped automatically (if possible) on or around Tuesday, March 28, unless you tell us that you do wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com before March 27 if you plan to pick up.
