Item Description
JEREMY HILLHOUSE 1940 – 2009
Jeremy’s works are part of permanent collections at the Denver
Art Museum and Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. His pieces
are represented by William Havu gallery in Denver.
As a painter, Jeremy was an abstract expressionist, often using
the plains of eastern Colorado as his subject. He once explained
that he tried to capture how a scene feels rather than how it
looks. Jeremy’s day job was Design Director at the Denver Art
Museum and he was recognized as a leader in his field. He was
also a loving grandfather of two Odyssey Elementary students.
(1940-2009)
Jeremy Hillhouse is the late grandfather of Bram and Isadora Hillhouse.
