Item Description
Enjoy an evening of classical music for four at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday, August 22 at 8pm. Immerse yourself in the concert from Terrace Box 1353 with director type seats and tables (can accommodate four people or three people and a Guide Dog). You can bring your own dinner and drinks (wine, cocktails etc.) or order it thru the Bowl. (If you elect to have dinner in the box catered by the Hollywood Bowl, you'll want to arrive well before the concert starts.)
The first part of the program is the world premier of a violin concerto commissioned by the LA Phil, composed by Daniel Bjarnason and played by Pekka Kuusisto. The second part of the program is Gustaf Holst's The Planets. With Dudamel conducting. Gustav Holst never imagined how popular and ubiquitous his colorful musical vision of the planets would become, but it will make for ideal listening under the night sky.
So, place your bid and get ready for a spectacular evening at the Bowl!
Item Special Note
Tickets will be mailed to the winner.
