Winemaker's Notes: The 2014 growing season marked the third consecutive year of exceptional weather and growing conditions in the Napa Valley. Crafted from a blend of clones 667, 777 and Pommard 4 from Jim Haire’s organically certified vineyard in Carneros, this wine is an excellent example of what Carneros Pinot Noir can deliver. The 2014 Pinot Noir exudes a beautiful dark ruby color and aromas of briary raspberry, rhubarb and black cherry. The palate is bright and supple with a ripe core of red fruit, balanced by subtle hints of cedar, vanilla and spice that linger on the finish. This wine is drinking great right now, but should develop additional complexity with proper cellaring. Enjoy!

Bouchaine 2012 Carneros Pinot Noir, 1 Bottle

A seductive Pinot Noir with a silky, lingering finish. It opens with an intoxicating nose of dark cherry, wild strawberry, cola, fresh roses, and cigar tobacco. A sweet, vibrant cherry palate opens to layers of dark fruits, brown spice, and cinnamon with lovely floral notes on the finish.

Winemaker's Notes: 2012 was an ideal season--no frosts, with a mild spring and summer leading into a tranquil fall. This beautiful weather resulted in superior quality fruit, with perfect depth and vibrancy.

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items at Stone Bridge School in Napa from Tuesday, March 28 to Tuesday, April 4, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT. Items not picked up by April 4 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.

Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped automatically (if possible) on or around Tuesday, March 28, unless you tell us that you do wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com before March 27 if you plan to pick up.
