Fourth Annual Fall Folly at Stanford Sierra Camp

Sign up for the Fall Folly and enjoy a rare opportunity to spend the weekend with your family and a whole lot of Nueva friends at Stanford Sierra Camp. The entire Stanford Sierra Camp is reserved just for Nueva! Located in South Lake Tahoe, on beautiful Fallen Leaf Lake, at the edge of the Desolation Wilderness, Stanford Sierra Camp is a magical place. Every family will have their own lodge-room or cabin in camp and access to every imaginable activity: sailboats, kayaks, rowboats, a beach, "Boatster" cruises, hiking trails, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, swimming, fishing, tennis, playground, family crafts and games, yoga, archery, and rowing. Other activities include a bonfire with s'mores on Friday night, beach games and BBQ at Baby Beach on Saturday afternoon, a family poker game and magic show followed by a family dance party and movie night on Saturday night.

All lodging, activities, and meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch are included. There will be drop-in babysitting available all day Saturday so parents of the 2-to-5-year-old crowd can fully enjoy the surroundings. New this year, no cash needed at the fountain for treats - milkshakes, popcorn and other snacks will be included. Please note: Diane Rosenberg wants everyone to know that the Fall Folly is a school-sanctioned event and, similar to early dismissal for a sporting event or a tournament, Nueva supports families across all three divisions leaving early to avoid traffic so they can enjoy the full weekend.  Also, this was a very popular item last year and while we know schedules sometimes change, we cannot offer refunds. If your plans change, please contact Courtney Crews in the Advancement Office and we will try to sell your spot to someone on the waiting list. No changes can be made after September 6, 2017. We are doing a faculty/staff lottery this year so if you have to cancel after September 6, you can feel good that your spot is going to a faculty or staff family!
