Item Description
You are bidding on a beginning fencing class for children ages 7–16 years of age.
Come join us for an exciting month with the modern Olympic sport of fencing, a path into the nation's top universities, including the Ivies and Stanford. In this class, the students will be introduced to the foil and basic strategies of the sport. Every class will include warm ups, footwork, fundamentals such as attacks and defensive actions, and bouting with a partner. Each student will develop the skills necessary for starting championship fencing levels while improving coordination and balance. Upon completion of the class, fencer may join SFFC championship program.
San Francisco Fencers' Club is located in Belmont and the San Francisco Richmond district. The club has members who have been and continue to be on US National Fencing Teams. SFFC graduates have successfully placed into top universities such as Stanford, Princeton, Cornell, Vassar, NYU, Barnard, UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara.
