Grace Ditzion, a painter, sculptor and writer, was born in 1910 in Montreal, Canada. Grace was educated in NYC (BA & MA) and studied at the Art Students League. In addition to the Art Students League, Grace's art was shown at the National Arts Club and Salmugundi Club in New York City. In 1976 she devoted herself full time to art, prior to that she was wife, mother and full time teacher. Since then she had a one woman art show, exhibited in many regional and national shows and won awards for her work in a variety of media oils, pastels, stone and wood using representational and abstract techniques. “Art is the creation of forms which express human feeling.”
Grace Ditzion is the Great Grandmother of Curley K1 student, Elijah Ditzion.
