Item Description
Our community project involves all of our K-8 students. This collaborative project was designed with the thought of our school as together we are stronger. We began each class by reflecting and choosing a word that best describes what they have gained through being a student at Cascade Canyon School. Each child then cut, molded, and smoothed out red clay creating plates, cups, bowls, and dinnerware accessories. This was followed by hand stamping their individual words of inspiration onto each piece. Looking at the words that each student chose should give a good idea of how lucky we are to have our children attend CCS.
This clay has been fired to 2200 degrees and is dishwasher and oven safe.
