Join Carnegie Hall's Director of Archives and the Rose Museum for a rare opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes at one of the world's most famous concert venues. Gino Francesconi and his staff have documented more than 55,000 events, collected 300,000 items, and curated more than 30 exhibits since establishing the archives in 1986. Mr. Francesconi has worked at Carnegie Hall since 1974 and, as backstage artist attendant, was involved with more than 3,000 events working with such artists as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Vladimir Horowitz. He is a veritable treasure trove of information and stories about this quintessential New York institution.
