Just four years after Urban first opened its doors to students, a toddler Traci Des Jardins, was learning to run--we can only imagine in a toque around a toy kitchen set. Lucky for us, the two-time James Beard award-winning celebrity Chef and chef/owner or partner of six restaurants in San Francisco has never stopped.
Treat your friends to rare and delectable dining experience from one of the finest chefs in America. Join hosts Jennifer Roy, Traci Des Jardins, and Bob and Elissa Hambrecht for an intimate evening in Jennifer's lovely house in the Mission. Chef Traci Des Jardins, will prepare an unforgettable dining experience for 12. The evening will start in the kitchen with appetizers and champagne/cocktails followed by a four-course meal paired with wines by Master Sommelier, Alan Murray of Jardiniere.
Traci Des Jardins has been a part of the San Francisco food community for 23 years and has opened many great San Francisco eateries, including Jardinière, her iconic French-California restaurant, Public House in AT&T Park, Presidio-based Arguello, and of course, The Commissary which was named one of the best restaurants in the country by Esquire Magazine.
Traci is a dedicated philanthropist, sitting on the board of the local non-profit La Cocina, and has been a longtime supporter of the farm to table movement and sustainability. Known as one of the top female chefs in the country, Des Jardins has earned a number of industry accolades throughout her career.
