Item Description
William Penn House is a Quaker center for hospitality, education, and activism in Washington, DC's historic Capitol Hill neighborhood. It offers simple overnight hospitality in a Quaker community, educational programs, and public events. Daily Quaker worship is held each morning. The lodging is dormitory-style, but they offer families of up to 4 people a private room (with two sets of bunk beds).
This auction opportunity offers a family of 4 two free nights at William Penn House in their own room. William Penn House is near the Metro, and a few blocks from the Capitol itself, from the Supreme Court and Folger Museum, from the mall, from numerous restaurants, and from Union Station. It's a short walk to the Eastern Market as well. There is on-street parking.
A light breakfast is included in your stay, and staff is well-versed in guiding newcomers, and in suggesting outings.

The dates available are contingent on other reservations for the dormitories, so preferred dates may not be feasible. William Penn House will accept reservations for this offer up to three months ahead of time.
