All packaged in a handmade Fair Trade basket. To source our baskets, we have partnered with PINARTE, a women's cooperative based in Cinco Pinos, a small village on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. Starting in 1993 with a group of twelve women, the cooperative now employs over thirty women who make their living by weaving pine needle baskets. Our Fair Trade Gift Baskets help to build a sustainable community in an extremely impoverished part of Nicaragua. Our baskets are environmentally-friendly, taking advantage of an abundant local raw material (pine needles).

Items and gift certificates may be claimed on April 8th at our Auction & Celebration on our campus in Cumberland, Maine. Shipping bulky items to any location is not included in the sale price, unless expressly stated. If shipping is required, the cost will be charged to the credit card on file.
Registration with Bidding for Good is required in order to bid. All auction items are donated to FSP for use in this auction, and are sold as is. Descriptions are provided by the item donors, and FSP is not liable for any warranty or representation not expressly stated. Some restrictions or exclusions may apply.
