Item Description

Nina Scribner will offer two sessions to work with an individual interested in enhancing their relationship with their dog's behaviors.    

One session will be in the home and around the property.  The second session will be out in a more public area such as Hannaford's parking lot or near a playground. The place, time and date will be mutually agreed upon by the item winner and Nina.   

This is not obedience training but more relationship centered training with their dog.   Obedience training is a vehicle to assist in behavioral changes and is a key ingredient.  The fun part is when we begin to see our dogs speak with their body language, and you can begin to say…  "Oh, now I get it!"   This might be when the dog turns and races to us when we call them!    Or when the dog looks at us as we approach another person for a people greeting and doesn't lunge and jump on them!  The time we will spend will be the tip of the iceberg in changing behavior BUT to get excited with what our dogs will give us when we are CLEAR and CONSISTENT and FAIR is an impetus to next steps.   

Nina has loved to spend time with dogs since the day she was born!   This passion has grown into a life's vocation with raising and training guide dog puppies for the blind for 32 years and registering dogs as therapy dogs for The Alliance of Therapy Dogs for 17 years. 

Being with people and their dogs is a sacred relationship, as we open our hearts and minds to discern what we see and how best to work with behaviors.  There is a wonderful quality of new beginnings all the time and there is no one right way!

Items and gift certificates may be claimed on April 8^th at our Auction & Celebration on our campus in Cumberland, Maine.  Shipping bulky items to any location is not included in the sale price, unless expressly stated.  If shipping is required, the cost will be charged to the credit card on file.
