Argentina is the eighth-largest country in the world. While it’s well known for fine wines, soccer, the tango, and Eva Peron, over the last decade, the country has emerged as one of the the premier fly-fishing destinations.
Patagonia’s trout fishing rivals the best of the American West—this package will give you the opportunity to suit up, boot up, and float and wade several of the most productive rivers in the region at Chime Lodge fishing for brown, rainbow and brook trout. The lodge is located on the upper reaches of the Chimehuin River on the edge of the Lanin National Park. The river lies in a very picturesque valley beneath the 11,300 ft Lanin Volcano. Fishing in other rivers such as the Malleo River and 20 trout-rich lakes is also available, accessed by vehicle or on horseback. Dry fly, streamer and nymphing techniques are all used and access to fishing is by wading or by boat. The modern, spacious lodge provides topclass accommodation and high-quality cuisine.
