Item Description
Ever wondered what it was like to be a real marine biologist and hang out all day with those creatures from the deep? Join Bart Shepherd, Director of California Academy of Sciences' Steinhart Aquarium and Hamlin dad, for a morning of intrigue and hands-on experience behind the scenes of San Francisco’s premier aquarium. This private, all-access marine life adventure will show the girls how biologists create the ecologically-attuned environments for the more than 1,000 species on display and manage the 38,000 animals and plants that live at the aquarium. Girls will help prepare food, feed animals, and meet the staff members who care for the exhibits. Pizza lunch to follow!
