Harvey and Ken Kubernik are nationally recognized authorities on the music and history of rock and roll. Together and separately they have shared their knowledge and passion about this music in their writings for such publications as the Los Angeles Times, MOJO, Variety and Music Mix Magazine. Their numerous best-selling books include titles on Leonard Cohen, Neil Young and “Canyon of Dreams: The Magic and the Music of Laurel Canyon”. This summer marks the 50th anniversary of the Monterey Pop Festival, the first major music festival and precursor to Woodstock, and with it, the re-release of the Kuberniks' book “A Perfect Haze - The Illustrated History of the Monterey International Pop Festival.”
Bring your questions and love of music for dining and conversation with these two authorities at Lucy’s El Adobe Cafe, the iconic haunt of such rock legends as Linda Ronstadt, Don Henley and Jackson Brown. Larger items can be picked up in Studio City, CA or shipped at the winning bidder's expense. Shipping charges for USPS Flat Rate Boxes are as follows: $8 for small boxes, $14 for medium boxes, $19 for large boxes. We will try to use the smallest package size we can.
