Item Description

This auction is for a whimsical Ohio State clock, handmade by Richwood Council Member, George Showalter...better known as “Soapy.”

Soapy has been a substitute teacher for years following his long stint at Proctor and Gamble.

He loves to tinker with clocks, organizes the annual Kids Bluegill Tournament at the park, can be seen around seasonally dressed to the hilt.  (Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day, Fourth of July, Halloween).  He was also recently featured in January on Good Day Columbus providing his famous Bourbon Balls, a traditional treat on Inauguration Day.

A friend to everyone, this clock is donated by Richwood’s very own “Soapy.”
