Item Description
Have Roger Williams Park Zoo's ever-popular Zoomobile drive over to a school of your choice for up to 4 classroom programs (30 children maximum each program).
Children attending one of our outreach Zoomobile programs have the opportunity to meet some of the zoo's animal ambassadors such as birds, turtles, ferrets, insects and snakes as they listen to a fun and educational presentation complete with props and biofacts (horns, furs, skins, etc;).
Our 45-minute programs reach students pre-K through high school, each tailored for the specific audience.
Item Special Note
Arrangements should be made through the Rhode Island Zoological Society's Education Department and are based on availability. The winning bidder may select one of our many Zoomobile program options. This program may be repeated up to 4 times and must be scheduled for the same day, at the same school. Arrangements must be made with RI Zoological Society at least one month prior to requested date. For the health and safety of the animals, we must limit class size to 30 children. Expires July 1, 2018
For programs outside of a 20-mile radius of the zoo, milage fees are as follows:
20-34 miles- $15
35-54 miles- $35
55-54 miles- $55
75+ miles- $75
Gift certificate will be mailed to winning bidder upon auction close.
