Item Description

This is a 11"x14.75" print based on the acrylic painting of Alae School, South Kona, Hawaii and signed by the artist. 

About the artist: Cedric Hustace was born and raised in Honolulu, where he attended Punahou School. He now resides in Evansville, Indiana. His long journey over the years has taken him to Texas Western College (B.B.A), to the University of Texas-Austin (J.D.), and to a very outstanding legal career in the Midwest. He has been an attorney of distinction, being the author of many publications and serving on many legal forums. He served with the U.S. Army in Heidelberg, Germany from 1957 through 1960. He also studied art at the University of Miami. His athletic endeavors include major and numerous achievements in marathons and U.S.A. Track & Field Race Walking, including a national age group 1st place in 1994 for the 3000-meter walk.
His impressionist, acrylic paintings and ink and watercolor sketches depict people and animals, landscapes and seascapes, and athletic endeavors. He has completed many commemorative posters for competitive events, has had work appearing on covers of various journals, and has been the recipient of numerous artistic achievements awards. Many of his works have been installed in the permanent collections at the University of Texas, El Paso. Over the years, his works have appeared for exhibition at Iolani Palace, the Volcano Art Center, Kona Historical Society, and many community venues and businesses. Private collections of his works are found throughout the United States, in Australia, Egypt, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, and Serbia.
