Item Description
Join PS75 parent Kevin Uno and his son for a night of camping on the Hudson River in Palisades, New York. This one-of-a-kind overnight camping trip is for first timers or experienced campers who want to get outta town for a night but may not have the experience, time, or inertia to plan a camping trip and leave the city.
The campsite is located on the shores of the Hudson just 30 minutes north of the city. We provide dinner, breakfast, campfire, tent, and sleeping bags as well as transportation if needed. You just need to bring yourselves. The site is a 1/2 mile hike down from the Palisades to the river with a few steep and rocky sections. Reasonable physical fitness and balance are required. You don’t need to be an expert hiker though. A positive attitude and sense of adventure is a plus. The trip is for up to two adults and two children. Children must be 5 or older. The trip will be on a mutually agreed upon Friday or Saturday night between April and September, 2017.
