Item Description

Get some friends together for a taste through this amazing collection of California (mostly Napa Valley) reds and whites. Or keep them for yourself and savor them over time.  Either way you can't go wrong!

Silver Oak Cabernet 2011, 750ml

From Wine.com: “ "An excellent performance from a wonderful growing season, the 2012 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon demonstrates a beautiful synergy between a top winery and Mother Nature. The wine offers abundant ripe red and black fruit, a pleasing suggestion of coconut from the oak, and a long and luxurious finish."

Cakebread Cabernet 2013, 750ml

From Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon has beautiful crème de cassis fruit, excellent structure on the palate’s backside and represents a blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot. Aged primarily in French oak, the wine is youthful and young, with the coiled, restrained character of many 2013s, but the concentration is impressive and the purity is there. Beautiful black and blue fruits are obvious, and the wine structured, delineated and vibrant. There is a reasonably good value as well. Give it another 6-12 months bottle age, and drink it over the following 12-15 years.

Joseph Phelps Cabernet 2014, 750ml

An outstanding effort from one of Napa Valley's top producers, the 2014 Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon comes to the fore with black currants, graphite, and licorice. An accent of mint completes the picture and makes this wine a beautiful choice with a grilled ribeye of beef.

Caymus Vineyards Cabernet 2014, 750ml

From Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley has a dense opaque purple color, a kiss of blackberry and cassis fruit, a full-bodied mouthfeel with ripe tannin and a long finish. It is very Caymus in its immediate accessibility, but has plenty of staying power and depth. This is lush, full, intense and pure. Drink it over the next 15 or so years."

Broken Spur Pinot Noir 2013, 750ml

From Wine Hunter: “The cooling influence of the Pacific gives this wine a crystalline, crushed wild strawberry and herby red cherry perfume that is intoxicating. Then comes the wild thyme, redwood duff, mushroom, strawberry pulp, and baking spices. A gorgeous little Pinot.”

Cakebread Chardonnay 2013, 750ml

From Wine.com: “Cakebread Napa Valley Chardonnay boasts fresh, fragrant, apple, melon and pear aromas with a hint of oak spice. Rich and mouthfilling on the palate, its smooth, beautifully balanced, yellow apple, nectarine and honeydew melon flavors segue into a long, succulent finish enhanced by refreshing mineral and spicy oak tones. Released soon after bottling, Napa Valley Chardonnay hits its stride after 6-8 months in the bottle and rewards 3-5 years of aging.”
