Item Description
The Williams College Women's Basketball program runs a clinic for girls, ages 7-17 in the summer.
The session will run from July 24 – July 28, 2017. in Chandler Gymnasium.
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 pm. (M-Th); 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon (Fri)
The Williams College Girls Basketball Clinic provides an intensive week-long opportunity for girls to improve their basketball skills in a safe and supportive teaching atmosphere. The staff will provide instruction in the fundamentals of shooting, passing, ball handling, dribbling and individual and team defense. The basics of a fast break offense, the style played by the Williams Women’s Basketball Team, will be taught and developed in drills and live game situations. Highlighting the week will be league competition that will culminate in a round robin tournament on Friday. The teams will be formed according to age and ability. Contests, basketball videos and other fun activities will enhance the daily camp routine.
Camp Director - Pat Manning, 27 years

Manning, the all-time winningest coach in Williams history — men or women — won her 400th game on Feb. 16th. Manning has taken seven teams to the NCAA Tournament in her 25 years — only 20 years of NCAA eligibility due to NESCAC rules. She has guided the Ephs to the Sweet 16 four times, including twice in the last eight years.
In her most successful year in her career, Manning led her Ephs to the final four in 2012-2013, compiling a record of 27-6 and earning 2013 D3Hoops.com Northeast Region Coach of the Year.
