Item Description
2-2,5 hours guided tour for up to 6 people.
Brooklyn Heights is New York City's first neightborhoold to be preserved under the newly established Landmark's Commission in 1965.It is also the most beautiful neighborhood in the city with quiet tree-lined streets, well-preserved wooden houses dating as far back as 1834, characteristic brownstone buildings, and gorgeous views from the Promenade over Manhattan's skyline and the Statue of Liberty.
Brooklyn Heights has a rich history; this was where the first important War of independence battle took place, and where many famous American authors have lived. One of the churches formed part of the Underground Railway that helped shelter run-away slaves from the South.
The itinerary is flexible and can be adjusted.
Expires December 31st, 2017.
