Item Description

Museums of Sonoma County is made up of two Museums which focus on Art and History respectively. 

The Art Museum of Sonoma County presents national and international exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. The Art Museum's collection features artists who have lived and worked in Northern California. With diverse education programs, the Museum serves as a creative forum and public gathering place.

The History Museum of Sonoma County is a regional history center for the North San Francisco Bay Area. Its exhibitions and collections document the region's rich land and history. The History Museum serves the community as a gathering place and educational forum for youth and adults.

The History Museum is a Smithsonian Affiliate. Smithsonian Affiliations have established partnerships with 144 museums and other organizations in 39 states, the District of Columbia, Panama, and Puerto Rico since it was established in 1996. A Smithsonian Affiliation is conferred by application to institutions whose collections and mission are similar to those of the Smithsonian.

The Museums of Sonoma County are just steps away from Downtown Santa Rosa and Historic Railroad Square.

Item Special Note

Pick Up: School parents (and others who contact us by 9am on Monday, May 15th) can pick up this item at Sebastopol Charter School on Thursday, May 18th, between 2-4:30pm, OR Friday, May 19th, 1-3:30pm. Details about pick up location, any additional pick up times, and scheduling a special pick up time will be emailed to winning bidders at the close of auction.

Shipping: If you are not a school parent, this item will be shipped to you at your expense unless you contact us at fundraising@thecharterfoundation.org  by Monday, May 15th, at 9am, to elect pick up instead of shipping. The estimated shipping charge for this item is $3.10.

Please note that if the item is a gift certificate, a gift card, tickets, or a similar item, it cannot be insured. We will send it by certified mail. For other items, the shipping charge will include insurance.

The Charter Foundation is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
