Every man is different and requires a different fit in his clothing. That is why all of the garments at Commonwealth Proper are made from scratch for each client. Indeed, their tailors put heart and hand into everything bearing their label, with clothing that can withstand the 9-to-5, the all-nighter and the weekend. They are devoted to adding subtle details that make each garment as unique as each client. Proper means doing it right.
With a team of designers, stylists and tailors, Commonwealth Proper crafts American-made custom suits, shirts and accessories, and provides advice on clothing styling, fit and appropriateness.
The custom suit process starts with a personalized consultation to uncover the clients’ unique needs, taste and preferences. They then build custom clothing that fit both body and lifestyle.
Visit and have a look in Commonwealth Proper’s founding city, Philadelphia, or a city they have come to love, Atlanta. For a winning bidder in the Washington, DC area, one of the company’s Wardrobe Advisors will make a home or office visit.
