Item Description

Depression Glass was manufactured in the late-20's through the early '40s. This mass-produced molded glassware was of relatively poor quality, often exhibiting air bubbles, heavy mold marks and other flaws in the glass, yet it came in beautiful colors and patterns to suit every taste and it was affordable at a time when many families did not have extra income for dishware. Amazingly enough, it has become one of the most collectible items in antique and vintage glassware. This particular pattern, Royal Lace, was manufactured by the Hazel Atlas Glass Company in Clarksburg, West Virginia and Zanesville, Ohio, between 1934 and 1941. It measures 8" tall and 18" in circumference.
