Young Inglewood is a family run wine estate, established to grow wines that reflect and respect the land they steward. Balance is their guiding principle.

You will receive a three year, 2009 through 2011, vertical of their Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.

The 2009 shows a beautiful nose of blue and red fruits, warm spices and an indulgent cocoa powder character presented by the small percent of Cabernet Franc included. The palate offers up layers of the red, blue and black fruits, tea leaves and minerals. Warm spice and a round mouthfeel come from the new oak barrels, selected by Young Inglewood to showcase the fruit’s character and mid-palate. The balance of tannin, acidity and good length indicate structure in the wine and the scaffolding for aging. 298 Cases produced.

The 2010 is dark plum in color. This Cabernet Sauvignon greets the nose with aromas of black currant, cloves and leather. On the palate, dark chocolate, crème de cassis, plums and roast meat flavors regale the senses. Silky tannins, vanilla and spice from oak aging provide balance without dominating. The whole transitions to a long, seamless finish meant to be savored. Decant and enjoy, or add to your cellar collection. 440 Cases produced.

The 2011 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has an aromatic complexity and fine tannins, combined with enigmatic length, balanced acidity, and depth of fruit flavor. The wine displays aromas of black cherries and berries, with eucalyptus, earth and tar in the background. The delicious palate offers vanilla scented plum and berry compote, with hints of unsweetened chocolate and cloves. 278 Cases produced.

You and three guests will receive a complimentary tour & tasting at the estate winery in Napa Valley. Tours and tastings are held daily by previous appointment only, between 10AM and 3PM, excepting holidays. Guests of Young Inglewood are treated to a behind-the-scenes tour that showcases how they care for the vineyards and handcraft the wines. From the winery tour, you’ll proceed to the salon, among the Young’s art collection, for a seated tasting of their estate and single vineyard wines.
